Salary Range (USD): $108,647 – $116,000 annually
Salary Range (GBP): £57,176 – £69,000 annually
Salary Range (COP): 13,019,678 – 15,000,000 annually
Work Arrangement: Fully Remote (Must reside in one of the eligible countries)
Eligibility: Not open to expatriates
Position Overview
The Lead Solution Specialist will play a central role in delivering technical Salesforce solutions to IRC’s global fundraising operations, with a primary focus on the Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP). The role involves configuration, development, and enhancement of IRC’s CRM tools to optimize supporter engagement, fundraising strategies, and data integrity.
This role is part of the Marketing Technology Team within the IT department and is key to IRC’s broader External Relations goals. The position reports to the Associate Director of CRM and collaborates closely with teams in digital technology, analytics, and global fundraising.
Key Responsibilities

Administer and enhance Salesforce NPSP, including donation management, engagement plans, and supporter data

Translate fundraising and marketing needs into tailored Salesforce solutions

Serve as technical lead for Salesforce support and implementation projects

Design and develop solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Flow, APIs, and third-party integrations

Lead solution architecture and deployment strategies

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and CRM cases

Manage system upgrades, patching, and third-party app integrations (e.g., Pardot, Apsona, OwnBackup)

Develop and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards

Ensure data security and compliance with privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)

Support cross-functional collaboration with IT, analytics, program delivery, and external vendors
Minimum Qualifications
Education:

Associate’s degree required

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering
Experience:
-
Demonstrated experience with CRM systems, relational databases, and Salesforce development

Proficiency in Salesforce NPSP, SOQL, Visualforce, and declarative tools

Experience with donor data, privacy compliance, and nonprofit technology environments

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and API integration preferred

Knowledge of AI tools within the Salesforce ecosystem is a plus
