Introduction

World Vision International is seeking a skilled Full Stack Application Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications that support its global humanitarian mission. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to solutions that empower communities and transform lives worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning: Participate in project planning and scheduling, develop work plans, and manage workflows to meet deadlines.

  • Application Portfolio Management: Coordinate with the operations and architecture teams to ensure smooth application retirement, data migration, and system integration.

  • Data and Design: Identify data requirements and collaborate with architects to implement enterprise data models; prepare and review technical design specifications.

  • Coding and Testing: Develop, test, and integrate software solutions using disciplined SDLC methodologies; create data extracts and generate reports as needed.

  • Deployment: Oversee or support deployment of modules, upgrades, and fixes; ensure readiness for production environments.

  • Maintenance and Support: Provide Level 2 and 3 technical support; troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize existing applications.

  • Performance Improvement: Conduct performance assessments and recommend improvements; participate in process optimization teams.

  • Documentation: Maintain technical documentation, user guides, and change logs for all systems and modules.

  • Standards and Compliance: Adhere to organizational IT standards and policies; assist in refining development processes in alignment with business goals.

  • Technology Research and Training: Evaluate new tools and technologies, provide implementation recommendations, and train or mentor junior developers.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience with ASP.NET MVC 4.0 or higher using C#.

  • Strong understanding of MVC design pattern and ASP.NET request lifecycle.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience writing and optimizing T-SQL queries for Microsoft SQL Server, including stored procedures and triggers.

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on development with AngularJS.

  • Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.

  • Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a distributed global team.

  • Experience in system design, database development, integration, and testing methodologies.

  • Solid understanding of emerging technologies, software architectures, and IT products.
