The Role
Strategic finance leader for TNC’s MAC division, owning division-wide financial strategy, planning, reporting, compliance, and risk. You’ll translate complex financials into clear guidance, optimize systems and controls, centralize contracts & procurement, and partner with MAC leadership and central Finance to align resources with priority initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

Set the finance & operations vision; build models for budget, forecast, sustainability, and funding.

Lead monthly/annual close reviews (P&L, balance sheet incl. pledges); oversee journals, accruals, deferred revenue, corrections.

Establish division policies/SOPs; ensure compliance (financial, data/records, youth safety, lobbying/regulatory filings).

Centralize & direct contracts, purchasing, vendor management; negotiate complex/sensitive agreements.

Identify and mitigate operational/financial risks; drive KPI tracking and insights.

Represent MAC in org-wide initiatives; tailor implementations to division needs.

Build and lead a high-performing team; recruit, coach, set objectives, and manage day-to-day execution.
What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s in Finance/Accounting/Business (or equivalent experience); 7+ years related experience.

Proven team leadership, complex project delivery, and senior-level partnership.

Advanced financial acumen; budgeting, analysis, and reporting in large/complex orgs.

Contract management expertise; comfort with confidential information; strong communication.
Strongly Preferred

9+ years total; 3+ managing operations; non-profit GAAP; CPA/accounting degree.

Experience with dispersed teams; HR process support; advanced nonprofit management knowledge.

Multilingual or cross-cultural experience.
Compensation & Benefits (U.S.)
Range: $118,000–$177,000 (location/skills/experience dependent).
