Key Responsibilities
1. Website Maintenance and Content Management
- Regularly update and maintain ROAS web pages in English and Arabic, based on content provided by the Regional Communication Unit.
- Manage Country Office web pages in English, Arabic, and French where applicable.
2. Technical Support
- Manage and upload content to digital platforms like YouTube, Flickr, and SharePoint.
- Provide technical support for the migration of regional and country web pages to a new platform, coordinating with the global web team.
3. Performance Monitoring and Reporting
- Collect and analyze monthly performance data for web pages, including:
- Page views, visitor numbers, bounce rates, session duration.
- Audience demographics, device usage, and content engagement trends.
- Identify insights to improve strategies and optimize user engagement.
4. Alignment with Digital Strategy
- Collaborate with the Regional Communication Unit to align activities with UN Women’s digital strategy.
- Propose technical and content optimizations to enhance user experience.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Master’s degree in Communication, Computer Science, Digital Communication, or a related field, OR
- Bachelor’s degree with an additional two years of relevant experience.
Experience
- At least 7 years of experience in web management, digital communication, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in web editing and online content management.
- Previous experience in the UN System is required.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently and in teams.
Languages
- Fluency in English is required.
- Proficiency in another UN official language (French, Arabic, Chinese, Russian, or Spanish) is desirable.
