Role Summary
Project HOPE seeks a Vice President, Corporate & Foundation Partnerships to lead and scale its portfolio of corporate and foundation donors. Reporting to the Chief Development & Communications Officer, this executive role will be responsible for driving a revenue growth strategy to expand current $20M funding to $30M over three years—including a significant increase in unrestricted revenue. The successful candidate will be a proven business developer with strong C-suite networks and leadership experience.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy

Set and execute a multi-year growth plan for private sector and foundation partnerships

Oversee a $20M+ portfolio and manage four direct reports

Drive change management and champion brand elevation

Represent Project HOPE at industry events, conferences, and speaking engagements
New Business Development

Develop a robust pipeline of new corporate and foundation partners

Leverage existing high-value networks to secure seven-figure partnerships

Increase unrestricted core mission funding from $1M to $3M over 3 years
Partnership Management

Cultivate and expand existing donor relationships

Guide engagement strategies including site visits, corporate summits, and field exposure
Brand Stewardship

Ensure consistent and compelling brand presentation in pitches and communications

Collaborate cross-functionally to align mission with partner objectives
Innovation & New Channels

Explore new revenue streams and partnership models to meet ambitious growth targets
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree required
-
15–20+ years of relevant experience in nonprofit fundraising, business development, or partnerships

Proven success in securing high-value corporate and foundation funding

Strong leadership, strategic planning, and team-building skills

Experience with cause marketing, pitch development, and senior stakeholder engagement

Willingness to travel up to 30–40%
Work Conditions

Hybrid role based in DC preferred; remote eligible in specific U.S. states

International travel required periodically

Office and field deployment conditions may vary, including austere environments
