About the Role

As a Staff Financial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in Mozilla’s Corporate Finance team, leading planning, reporting, and strategic analysis. You will own the forecasting cycle, drive financial insights for leadership, enhance reporting systems like Pigment and Looker, and support cross-functional decision-making. This is a high-impact role reporting to the Head of FP&A, working closely with leadership across Mozilla.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly forecasting and present insights to senior leadership

  • Maintain and improve integrated financial models and dashboards

  • Develop executive-level reports and Board materials

  • Automate reporting processes using tools such as Pigment and Looker

  • Conduct scenario planning, ROI analyses, and investment evaluation

  • Support accounting close cycles to ensure alignment with forecasts

  • Translate strategy into financial models (including 3-statement models)

  • Partner with business units to enhance budget discipline and strategic alignment


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Corporate FP&A (high-growth or tech environments preferred)

  • 3+ years independently managing budgets and forecasts

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field

  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills (VBA, Power Pivot, etc.)

  • Experience with Pigment, Adaptive, or similar planning tools

  • Knowledge of NetSuite (highly preferred), Workday a plus

  • Familiarity with Looker, Python, R, or SQL is a plus

  • Deep understanding of accounting principles and 3-statement modeling

  • Strong communication and data storytelling abilities
