Partnering with 200+ organizations, Fòs Feminista advocates for gender equality, provides access to reproductive healthcare, and supports feminist movements through funding, capacity building, and solidarity.


Position Summary

As part of the Philanthropy Unit, the Senior Officer, Major Gifts & Planned Giving will manage a portfolio of approximately 100 donors and prospects. The goal is to cultivate, solicit, and steward five- and six-figure major and planned gifts. This is a strategic and hands-on role responsible for building strong relationships with top supporters and increasing flexible funding for the organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a strategy to grow the major gifts program.

  • Cultivate and steward individual donors giving $10,000+ annually.

  • Organize donor events and trips to the Global South.

  • Solicit major, blended, and planned gifts; support senior leadership and board in fundraising.

  • Produce donor materials (appeals, reports, profiles) in collaboration with consultants and staff.

  • Track KPIs and donor moves using Salesforce.

  • Coordinate gift acknowledgments and ensure accurate recordkeeping.

  • Collaborate across teams to gather impact stories and align fundraising strategies.

  • Travel as needed within the US and to Global South locations.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

  • 5–7 years of frontline fundraising experience, with a proven track record in five- and six-figure donor engagement.

  • Deep commitment to feminist principles and reproductive justice.

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience with donor databases (Salesforce preferred).

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to travel and manage multiple projects independently.

  • Fluency in English required; Spanish or French preferred.


Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary: $90,006.76/year

  • Benefits include:
