Job Purpose
The Senior Manager – Digital Platforms & Infrastructure Applications will lead the global management, modernization, and operational support of shared digital platforms, including Microsoft 365, Box, cloud databases, and Domino. This role is critical for platform consolidation, secure collaboration, and digital workplace adoption across global and field offices.
As part of the Infrastructure & Operations function, the Senior Manager will partner with teams in Cybersecurity, Architecture, TBM (Digital Workplace & Governance), Field IT, and Application Support to ensure service reliability, modernization, and end-user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee lifecycle management and operational delivery of Microsoft 365, Box, cloud databases, and Domino systems.

Lead modernization initiatives, including decommissioning legacy platforms and migrating to scalable, cloud-native solutions.

Ensure platforms are secure, compliant, and optimized for diverse environments, in collaboration with Cybersecurity teams.

Manage system upgrades, licensing, vendor relations, and platform performance.

Partner with Architecture and ITSM teams to ensure integration and governance compliance.

Act as a senior escalation point for major incidents, risks, and operational challenges.

Collaborate with the Digital Workplace team to support adoption, governance, and roadmap initiatives.

Mentor teams in Agile methodologies, fostering continuous improvement and iterative delivery.

Provide guidance to regional and field IT teams, ensuring accessibility in low-connectivity contexts.

Contribute to digital workplace adoption strategies across global offices.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.

7–10 years of relevant IT and business work experience, including supervisory responsibilities.

Proven ability to launch and deliver IT projects on time and within budget.

Strong expertise in Microsoft 365, cloud database environments (Azure SQL), Box, and Domino.

Demonstrated experience in platform transitions, upgrades, and modernization programs.

Knowledge of Agile delivery methods, with experience coaching teams.

Security-first mindset with experience in identity management, access control, and data compliance.

Excellent collaboration and stakeholder engagement across global, cross-functional teams.

Experience working in humanitarian or decentralized global organizations (preferred).
