About the Role

Kiva is seeking a Senior Associate, Strategic Partnerships to support its fundraising efforts and partner engagement strategies. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Strategic Partnerships, this role blends operational excellence with business development to support philanthropic partnerships. This position can be based remotely in the U.S. (with work authorization) or in Bogotá, Colombia.

Responsibilities

Operational & Administrative Support (70%)

• Maintain data accuracy in Salesforce, Google Drive, Asana, and Confluence

• Design process improvements to enhance internal system efficiency

• Compile and analyze donor data for solicitation and stewardship efforts

• Coordinate gift acknowledgments and tax receipting

• Verify and record online/offline gifts, including employer matching contributions

• Document contact and opportunity data to support internal collaboration

• Maintain calendars for campaigns, events, and deliverables

• Identify and implement AI tools to improve team workflows

• Support the team with logistics, travel, and event planning

Business Development Support (30%)

• Conduct prospect research for corporations, foundations, and individual donors

• Monitor philanthropic trends and funding opportunities

• Collaborate with internal teams on proposals, pitches, and partner materials

• Assist in developing engagement strategies for key stakeholders

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in nonprofit, social enterprise, or related environment

• Proficient in Google Workspace, Salesforce, Asana, and data management systems

• Skilled in managing cross-functional projects and complex workflows

• Strong time management and prioritization skills

• Experience with data cleanup, reporting, dashboards, and CRM systems

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

• Familiarity with financial inclusion, international development, or CSR (preferred)
