Job Overview

The Regional Finance Analyst plays a key role in the Global Finance Team, supporting the Regional Finance Director (RFD) in ensuring sound financial oversight across IRC’s country programs in the region. This remote role, based in Pakistan, involves close collaboration with finance teams in the field and regional departments such as HR, IT, AMU, and GSC.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Analysis, Budgeting & Reporting

  • Consolidate annual operating budgets and forecasts

  • Manage payments, accounting, and reporting of regionally managed awards

  • Assist in preparing financial analysis, including funding status, cash flow, and risk identification

  • Review financial reports from non-USG donors for accuracy

Controllership & Compliance

  • Prepare internal financial reports for HQ and regional management

  • Provide technical guidance and support to field offices

  • Review cash requests and monthly accounts to ensure compliance

  • Conduct quarterly balance sheet reviews and risk assessments

  • Monitor regional financial health and assist in reviewing the FMO1 report

Regional Finance Support

  • Handle ad hoc financial requests from the RFD, RVP, or country teams

  • Support internal/external audits and corrective action planning

  • Review final budgets and realignments before donor submission

  • Track cost allocation waivers and U4999 expenses

  • Serve as ERP (MS Dynamics) Super User for finance-related support

  • Maintain organized financial records for all supported country offices

  • Assist in training project managers and partners on financial procedures

  • Provide temporary or remote finance support during staff vacancies

Candidate Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s, CPA, or CA preferred)

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive finance/accounting experience, preferably in the non-profit sector

  • Prior international or multicultural experience is highly desirable

Skills

  • Fluent in English; knowledge of regional languages is a plus

  • Familiarity with GAAP and fund accounting practices

  • Experience with general ledger systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and in team settings under pressure

  • Proficient in MS Office and financial software

  • Willingness to travel to field offices when required
