This consultancy is part of the Circular Economy and Green Industry Division (TCS/CEG) and will support the implementation of green and circular economy practices in the solar renewable energy sector.
Project Background
This assignment falls under the EU-funded project “Support for SMEs’ transition towards a green and circular economy” in the Southern Mediterranean region, including Jordan. The project aims to:

Demonstrate circular business models and improve access to finance

Disseminate knowledge across educational and policy-making levels
Responsibilities
The consultant will focus on the solar renewable energy value chain in Jordan, providing advisory support on resource efficiency and circular economy (RECP/CE). Areas of focus include:

Manufacturing of solar components

Panel assembly and installation
-
End-of-life recycling and refurbishing of photovoltaic (PV) systems

Required Qualifications
Education

Advanced university degree in engineering, environmental engineering, renewable energy, or related field
Experience

Minimum 7 years of professional experience

Expertise in solar thermic and photovoltaic value chains

Proven track record in resource efficiency, cleaner production, and circular economy

Experience with technical cooperation projects at the international level
Skills
