Fòs Feminista is a Global South-led, intersectional feminist alliance working in 40+ countries to advance sexual and reproductive health, rights, and justice (SRHRJ). Through strategic partnerships, advocacy, and funding, Fòs Feminista supports a global network of over 200 organizations to deliver access to health services and champion feminist values and equity.


Position Summary

As part of the Foundations, Governments & Major Gifts Unit, the Philanthropy Officer will provide strategic and administrative support across institutional and individual donor segments. This role will contribute to growing revenue through research, proposal and report drafting, donor engagement activities, and database management. It offers an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional passionate about reproductive rights and feminist movement-building.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare briefing memos on donors and funding opportunities.

  • Draft donor proposals, reports, and fundraising materials.

  • Coordinate input from internal teams to ensure timely donor communications.

  • Organize donor events and trips to partner organizations.

  • Track deadlines and maintain a grants calendar and proposal library.

  • Update donor records and correspondence in Salesforce.

  • Collaborate with teams to gather impact stories and develop compelling materials.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, gender studies, public health, or related field.

  • 3–4 years of professional experience, preferably in women’s rights or social justice organizations.

  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish strongly preferred.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Understanding of SRHR and feminist approaches to philanthropy.

  • Experience with proposal writing, donor databases (Salesforce preferred), and working across teams.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.

  • Willingness to travel and work across time zones.

  • Commitment to equity, inclusion, and safeguarding principles.
