Role Summary

The Officer, Strategic Events – West Coast will design and implement engaging events that support fundraising and increase brand visibility. This role works closely with philanthropy and marketing teams to deliver high-impact experiences that connect with key stakeholders across the western United States. The position reports to the Senior Director of Experiential Marketing.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute live and virtual events including dinners, conferences, and thought leadership gatherings.

  • Lead all aspects of event coordination, including concept notes, briefs, logistics, production, and post-event analysis.

  • Support regional leadership visits and manage travel coordination as needed.

  • Develop creative themes, content, and programming for events.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to build strategic engagement opportunities.

  • Use Salesforce and marketing tools (e.g., Pardot) to manage outreach and track outcomes.

  • Analyze audience engagement and report on event effectiveness.


Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of experience in event planning.

  • Demonstrated experience leading events from concept to execution.

  • Strong project management and multitasking skills.

  • Excellent communication and writing skills.

  • Creativity and storytelling ability.

  • Experience with Salesforce and MS Office (Pardot preferred).

  • Availability for occasional evening work and travel.


Working Environment

  • Fully remote with flexible hours.

  • Must be available for occasional travel and evening events.
