Job Overview

The Manager, Mid-level Giving supports the operations and execution of the IRC’s mid-level giving program, engaging donors who contribute between $1,000 and $19,999 annually. This position blends donor communications, project management, campaign coordination, and high-touch service delivery.

The Manager reports to the Senior Officer of Mid-Level Giving and ensures that donors receive a donor-first experience across all engagement channels including mail, email, telemarketing, SMS, and paid media.


Key Responsibilities

Donor Communications & Concierge Support (40%)

  • Respond to donor inquiries (calls, emails, correspondence) with high-quality service

  • Maintain and update donor records in CRM (Salesforce)

  • Research and resolve donor issues, track status and provide timely follow-up

  • Identify and escalate high-value opportunities or concerns

  • Assist in managing the donor insight panel and concierge programs

Campaign Coordination (20%)

  • Coordinate campaign execution across all channels (direct mail, digital, telemarketing, SMS)

  • Support vendor communication, creative review, landing page setup, and acknowledgments

Project Management (20%)

  • Track campaign timelines and deliverables using Monday.com and internal systems

  • Maintain standard operating procedures and workflow documentation

Events & Engagement (10%)

  • Collaborate with Events and Engagement teams to organize virtual donor events

  • Manage attendee logistics and post-event follow-up

Reporting & Operations (10%)

  • Support segmentation, coding, and donor feedback tracking

  • Assist with invoice reconciliation and expense monitoring


Candidate Profile

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or equivalent experience

  • At least 3 years in fundraising, donor relations, or nonprofit marketing

  • Experience managing high-touch or high-volume donor interactions

  • Familiarity with direct marketing and campaign workflows

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong customer service orientation with empathy and professionalism

  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Monday.com, Microsoft Office

  • Team-oriented and proactive in a remote, cross-cultural environment

  • Comfortable learning new digital tools and processes


Working Environment

  • Fully remote (U.S. based)

  • Requires ability to manage at-home workspace and collaborate virtually
