Overview

The American Red Cross is seeking a strategic and motivated Finance Manager to lead monthly reporting and forecasting for enterprise financial planning. This remote position requires Eastern Standard Time working hours and involves supervising a team of analysts while overseeing financial data consolidation, executive reporting, and forecasting accuracy across business units.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage monthly financial close, reporting, variance analysis, and commentary

• Lead enterprise-wide forecasting with cross-functional coordination

• Prepare reporting packages for senior leadership

• Improve financial processes through automation and tool enhancement

• Supervise a team of financial analysts, assigning tasks and ensuring quality

• Contribute to strategic initiatives including long-range planning and ad hoc analysis

• Ensure accuracy and consistency across financial data and systems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field

• Minimum 5 years of related experience

• At least 3 years in a management or supervisory role

• Strong knowledge of financial statements, forecasting, and variance analysis

• Advanced Excel and experience with Power BI, Hyperion, Oracle, SAP, or Workday

• Excellent communication, leadership, and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Must know Hyperion and Power BI

• Advanced presentation and interpersonal skills

• Demonstrated ability to lead financial planning and strategic budgeting processes
