About the Role
The Global Community Associate is a key member of the Global Community Program and Partnerships Team. This role focuses on supporting nonprofit partners by managing communications, organizing learning opportunities, enhancing fundraising success, and providing human-centered support. The associate reports to the Global Community Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Community Engagement (60%)

Execute partner communications: Deliver targeted messaging and support for fundraising initiatives.

Support fundraising and training: Collaborate on designing workshops and resources to boost partner success.

Build learning communities: Engage nonprofit partners through online forums and community events.

Facilitate events and connections: Organize skill-building workshops and one-on-one support sessions.
Community Support (40%)

Respond to partner inquiries: Provide timely, thoughtful support to nonprofits.

Onboarding new partners: Guide nonprofits through the onboarding and project launch process.

Support operations: Help with project verifications, donation reallocation, and troubleshooting.
Required Qualifications

1–3 years of relevant experience in communications, nonprofit support, or customer engagement.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Technical proficiency with tools like Mailchimp, HubSpot, Salesforce, and Zendesk.

Customer service mindset with attention to partner needs.

Commitment to GlobalGiving’s mission and values.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience using storytelling to enhance fundraising campaigns.

Cross-cultural experience or international nonprofit work.

Multilingual skills.
