Development Associate/Senior Associate – Asian and Pacific Islander American Health Forum
Position Overview
The Asian and Pacific Islander American Health Forum (APIAHF) is seeking a Development Associate/Senior Associate to support its fundraising initiatives, including individual giving, special events, foundation grants, and corporate sponsorships. This role will handle administrative, research, and donor stewardship tasks while supporting the planning and execution of fundraising strategies.
- Location: Fully remote.
- Reports to: Director of Development.
- Position Type: Full-time.
Key Responsibilities
- Donor & Database Management
- Maintain accurate and updated Salesforce database records, including gift entries and donor follow-ups.
- Generate reports and dashboards from Salesforce to support fundraising strategies.
- Send timely acknowledgment letters for donations.
- Fundraising & Prospect Research
- Conduct and report on prospect research for funding opportunities (foundation, corporate, government).
- Coordinate and track funder reports, corporate sponsorship deliverables, and renewal processes.
- Support the development of print and digital fundraising materials, including proofreading and editing.
- Event Coordination
- Assist with the planning and execution of donor outreach events.
- Support stewardship efforts to maintain strong relationships with donors.
- Collaboration with Finance Team
- Reconcile monthly gift data with accounting and handle wire transfers and check scans.
- Provide necessary financial reports to align with donor requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 1–4 years of fundraising experience.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Exceptional organizational skills and acute attention to detail.
- Excellent research, writing, and editing abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with database management; Salesforce experience preferred.
- Ability to analyze and synthesize data into concise reports.
