Position Summary

We are looking for a Coordinator III, Scheduling to join our team. This role is responsible for coordinating staff scheduling, balancing workloads, planning coverage for weekends and holidays, and supporting administrative operations. This is a detail-oriented position requiring a high level of organization, communication, and scheduling efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate staff scheduling in compliance with assignment rules.

  • Plan staff rotation for weekend, holiday, and out-of-town operations while managing travel and overtime costs.

  • Coordinate with supervisors to handle staff leave requests and ensure adequate coverage.

  • Generate and share staffing reports for leadership.

  • Monitor scheduling trends and proactively report issues.

  • Provide support for lodging reservations and billing when required.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of related scheduling or administrative experience.

  • Skills:

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills

    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

    • Advanced skills in spreadsheets and/or databases

    • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment

    • Knowledge of Red Cross staffing/scheduling patterns is a plus
