Purpose of the Assignment

UNICEF is seeking a Digital Data Analytics Specialist to strengthen its digital performance strategy in the Latin America and Caribbean region. The consultant will support the implementation of web analytics, deliver actionable insights, and improve digital fundraising campaigns. The role will be part of the Data & Insights team within the global Digital Team of PFP.


Key Responsibilities

Analytics Reporting and Insights Generation

  • Provide data-driven solutions to optimize conversion rates, AB testing, and digital marketing paths.

  • Create comprehensive dashboards covering paid media, email, and campaign performance.

  • Collaborate with Marketing and Paid Media teams to measure digital KPIs and optimize global campaigns.

  • Work with IG teams to enhance donor engagement using CRM, payment, and online data.

Digital Analytics and Fundraising

  • Advise PFP staff and partners on digital analytics strategies.

  • Support UNICEF country offices and National Committees with local digital marketing expertise.

  • Integrate digital data analytics into PFP’s strategic planning efforts.

Analytics and Tracking

  • Implement digital analytics and maintain GA4 360 standards.

  • Support first-party data methodologies for a full donor view.

  • (Optional) Work with Google BigQuery and automate reporting systems and dashboards.

Knowledge Management and Community Building

  • Contribute to a global analytics community and share best practices.

  • Identify and replicate successful case studies across markets.


Deliverables and Timeline

  • August 2025: Advanced analytic solutions to improve online conversions.

  • October 2025: Digital dashboards and marketing mix models delivered.

  • November 2025: Optimization report for digital campaigns and website.

  • December 2025: Donor engagement and retention report based on multi-source data.

  • February 2026: Digital analytics strategy delivered and implemented; knowledge management insights shared.

  • March 2026: Best practice guide and tracking methodologies developed.

  • June 2026: Data automation systems and dashboards deployed.


Required Qualifications

  • Education:
    Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field. Master’s preferred.

  • Experience:

    • At least 5 years of experience in digital or data analytics

    • Proficient in SQL/BigQuery and Google Analytics

    • Experience with commercial KPIs, attribution models, and campaign optimization

    • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Desirable Skills:

    • Familiarity with R, Python, Java, Scala, or C++

    • Experience with Tableau, GCP, or similar BI tools

    • Understanding of paid media data and analytics techniques

  • Languages:
    Fluency in Spanish and English required. Knowledge of other UN languages is an asset.
