Role Overview

The Assurance Manager will be responsible for implementing Tiko’s global verified results strategy, ensuring risk management, compliance, and the smooth execution of programs across all operational countries. This role is integral to maintaining Tiko’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and regulatory compliance.


Key Responsibilities

Risk Management

  • Design, test, and implement a comprehensive risk management strategy that complies with donor and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop tools to identify and verify platform usage and mitigate risks effectively.

Control Tools

  • Create and oversee tools that enable swift and appropriate action to address identified risks.
  • Contract and manage internal and external parties to conduct data verification, mystery client activities, and other assurance measures.

Auditing and Investigations

  • Ensure day-to-day review of incidents, risk flags, and follow-up activities.
  • Support the development and implementation of audit and investigation processes, including managing SEAH (Sexual Exploitation, Abuse, and Harassment) investigations when necessary.

Risk Reporting

  • Prepare periodic risk reports for internal stakeholders and donors.

Leadership and Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop your team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in risk management.

About You

You are a strategic thinker with exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and a results-oriented approach. With strong leadership qualities, you are committed to fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the organization.


Qualifications

  • A finance or risk-focused qualification (CFE, CIA, CPA, or similar).
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information concisely.
  • High attention to detail and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold integrity.
  • Must be based in Nigeria, Zambia, or Ethiopia.
