Introduction

World Vision International is offering a three-month Digital Channels – Social Media Internship within its Public Engagement team. This opportunity is designed for students and recent graduates passionate about social media, storytelling, and global humanitarian work. Interns will gain hands-on experience managing digital platforms and creating impactful content that raises awareness for vulnerable children worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Digital Media Management: Assist in managing World Vision’s social channels, engaging with diverse online audiences.

  • Content Creation: Develop creative, compelling posts and social media assets that support global campaigns.

  • Analytics and Insights: Track engagement metrics to identify successful strategies and improve future campaigns.

  • Storytelling: Optimize evergreen content to communicate World Vision’s mission across multiple platforms.

  • Strategic Communication: Support initiatives that raise awareness and inspire collective action for vulnerable communities.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Passion for social media and understanding of multi-platform engagement.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Commitment to World Vision’s Christian values and mission.

  • At least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.

  • Currently enrolled student or recent graduate (within 2 years).

  • Ability to commit 20–40 hours per week during the internship period.

  • Willingness to use personal electronic devices with WVI’s security software installed.

  • Hours: 20–40 hours per week (flexible)

  • Compensation: Unpaid; $800 monthly stipend for U.S.-based interns
