Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical approach and solution design for U.S. government global health security programs.

• Develop and refine proposal content, ensuring technical accuracy and alignment with government standards.

• Translate complex scientific and operational concepts into clear, compelling proposal narratives.

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to integrate cross-cutting themes such as innovation, risk management, and implementation support.

• Provide strategic insights into global health security trends and evolving policy priorities.

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in global health, preferably with U.S. Department of State or USAID programs.

• Proven expertise in developing or managing technical solutions for federal contracts in health security.

• Strong familiarity with the Bureau of Global Health Security and Diplomacy (GHSD) or similar initiatives.

• Exceptional writing and communication skills, with a track record of leading technical proposal development.

• Ability to work independently in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.

Preferred:

• Former government service or contracting experience supporting GHSD or equivalent programs.

• Experience developing proposals for complex, multi-country global health projects.
