Salary Range: $71,600 to $93,100
Reports To: Director of Public Relations

Position Overview

The Content Strategy Manager will drive content and marketing strategies to align with HCWH’s mission. This role focuses on creating, managing, and analyzing multi-channel content to engage stakeholders, enhance the organization’s brand, and advance its climate, equity, and resilience initiatives.

The ideal candidate will excel in content strategy, digital marketing, and project management, with a strong understanding of SEO and analytics.


Primary Responsibilities

Content Strategy and Execution

  • Develop and implement comprehensive content strategies to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Ensure cohesive brand narrative across all platforms.
  • Create, edit, and publish content, including website materials, email campaigns, social media, and reports.
  • Conduct content audits and analyze market data to improve future campaigns.

Project Management

  • Manage and coordinate communication initiatives from concept to completion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure unified messaging and timely delivery of projects.
  • Track and analyze content performance using metrics and provide actionable insights.

Marketing and Outreach

  • Conceptualize and execute multi-channel campaigns.
  • Develop project plans and creative briefs to guide advertising and public communications efforts.
  • Use audience insights to inform outreach strategies and optimize conversions.

Team Collaboration

  • Coordinate closely with the Communications team and other departments to support organizational priorities.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for content-related projects.
  • Support high-priority initiatives with agility and flexibility.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, or a related field.
  • Relevant work experience may substitute for formal education requirements.

Experience

  • At least 7 years of experience in communications or marketing.
  • Experience in healthcare, climate change, or sustainability is a plus.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in content management systems and tools like Google Workspace, Adobe Creative Suite, Mailchimp, Hootsuite, and Asana.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and content optimization.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools to track and improve content performance.

Core Competencies

  • Proven ability to develop and execute content strategies.
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills (AP Style proficiency preferred).
  • Exceptional project management skills with experience managing multiple initiatives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote, cross-functional team.
  • Adept at balancing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
